How to wash your cashmere accessories

Your new cashmere accessories have been designed to last a lifetime. With the proper care, you can wear them for years to come. Any of your delicate knits – whether it’s pure cashmere or a cashmere blend – can be washed in the machine or by hand. Wash every three to four wears unless your piece is visibly soiled.

If you opt for machine washing, use a knitwear or delicate cycle, on a cold temperature with the lowest spin. A gentle detergent – such as baby shampoo or a specialist cashmere shampoo – is best. To dry, lie your piece on a flat surface in its natural shape to air dry, and cool iron inside out if needed.

Store your sweaters and cardigans folded – never hung – with cedarwood stars to keep moths at bay. Track pants should be folded in half and then hung in your wardrobe. Between washes, spritz with a garment refresher.
