Jacquetta Wheeler is a model, mum and photographer. She is the face of our autumn / winter campaign, which was shot on the rustic coastline of Dungeness. Read on to find out more about Jacquetta and the AW21 collection.

Our conversation with Jaquetta Wheeler...

How would you describe your style?

Fairly relaxed. I'm a jeans and t-shirt kind of person, with a great sweater on top!

What are your favourite pieces from the new AW21 collection?

That's a hard question! They would have to be the below knits, they're just so cozy and ooze autumn vibes. Not to mention how luxurious they make me feel.

Where will you be wearing your Chinti this season?

Where won’t I be wearing it?! At home, to work, country weekends, London weekends, and of course, the school run!

When travelling, what are your top 5 essential items you must have in your hand luggage?

My must-have moisturiser has to be the Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream. I also love my Lancome Hypnose Mascara. My favourite jeans are by Isabel Marant Etoile. I’m always in my Calvins when it comes to underwear and of course I layer with lots of Chinti & Parker cashmere sweaters!

Do you have any staycation for the season ahead? What are some of your favourite British beach destinations?

I had a great summer in the UK this year. I found shepherd’s huts and tipis on Air BnB in Devon and Cornwall to stay in, and really loved it. They showed me that you don’t have to spend a fortune traveling to enjoy a good holiday. Devon was so beautiful, I was so lucky with the weather. I wondered why I would go anywhere else! Church Cove in Cadgwith was a special find.

How do you stay creative? Any advice for others trying to become more creative while managing work and family life?

It’s hard to find the time but photography is my creative outlet. I love taking pictures of my children, or anything that I might pass or witness that I find exciting. For example, the kids and I were in Kent last Spring and a huge lorry full of sheep showed up in the field next to us, about to unload. I grabbed my camera and shot out there with the kids and got some great shots of them transfixed by the sheep. I then love to play around with my pictures using developing software such as Lightroom, and can spend hours editing.
